I bought this cable because it was a few dollars cheaper than other cables. When I received it I understood why. It's only 2/3 the thickness of my other cables, meaning the cable is thinner on the inside. I'd rather pay a few bucks extra for a more "normal" Cat5e cable, but it'll probably still work fine since I'm not trying to run 10GB ethernet through it. The connectors are good quality and if it were 6 feet it would be great, but for 100 feet spend the extra two bucks and get a thicker cable. Cut the wires from slight friction on the door jamb. This cable works so it's not a one star product but honestly. I've been using Cat5 cable for decades and have never had so much wear and tear on even the cheapest cable - ever - in much less than 30 days. Better run it through an armored conduit! Do yourself a favor and buy another cable if you don't like the idea of re-running 100+ feet of cable because you were trying to save $2 up front.
