KobraTech Apex A70 Tripod First Impressions

I have just opened the box and have no experience with the product. However, so far I like the tripod because it's made in the USA, it's fairly strong, light weight, easy to set up and gives the user a lot of options. It comes with a carrying case and looks very professional. It was pretty easy to connect my phone to the remote shutter and take a few pictures. A pleasant surprise is the inclinometer, which will help you determine if the tripod is perfectly level. Finally, everyone who registers with KobraTech receives a free 2-year warranty extension. I don't have bad feelings, but I'm curious as to the purpose of the pop-up button on the quick release plates. That's why I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars for ease of use. It appears to be spring loaded and rises with no pressure. If someone screwed the phone holder onto the quick release plate and tightened it all the way, it would be quite difficult to remove the phone holder. This is because there are grooves in the bottom of the phone holder. Maybe that's the intention, but I don't think anyone wants that. I'm thinking of either gluing or gluing the quick release plate's pop-up button. Hopefully another reviewer or someone at KobraTech can shed some light on this design point as I'd really like to know why it's here. Otherwise, the product makes a solid impression and I recommend it unreservedly.

Pros
  • 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁-𝗜𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗱 - Sometimes you need more versatility. That's why the Apex A70 phone and camera tripod comes with a built-in monopod. Just remove it from the center column. The monopod combo gives you more options without having to carry separate gear.
Cons
  • Only available in white
