This tablet holder is sturdy enough for my 8 inch tablet that I use as the GPS in my 2013 Climbing Jeep Wrangler. I installed it recently and worked 3 days. intense off-road driving during the Winter 4X4 Jeep Jamboree in St. George, Utah. It worked great. I originally intended to glue the base to the dash, but the suction cup was so strong I didn't even bother.
