I bought this set to put bushings in nylon straps. A hole punch that cuts a hole in the material didn't work at all for my application, just hammered into a block of wood. It didn't cut through the nylon straps at all. The punch looks good and sharp, so this material is probably not suitable for this punch. I think this might work well with materials like leather or rubber, but not so well with fabrics or woven materials. However, I used a propane lamp, heated up the punch, and worked like a champ! It melted right through the nylon strap, so this was actually the best method because it seared the edges of the hole and prevented fraying. The eyelets are small, but that's what I wanted. Fitting the bushing with the included hammer tools was intuitive and worked well. In general I am satisfied and for the money it was efficient and economical.
