I bought this fan for a 2012 Kia Sportage. The fan was delivered quickly, well packaged and even came with a wiring harness extension as the power and control wires are in different places depending on whether it's a Hyundai or a Kia. The mounting holes are in the right place and the fan fits. perfect. Removing the old fan and installing the new one took less than 15 minutes. Unfortunately there are two issues with the new fan, one will hopefully be temporary and the other unfortunately permanent. Hopefully the temporary cause is that the fan is giving the air a plastic chemical smell. I hope this goes away after the fan has been installed for a while. One constant is that this fan is much louder than the stock fan. The standard fan is almost inaudible due to the sound of the air moving at high speed. This fan can The best comparison I can make is that it sounds like you're a little behind on a call from someone using a hair dryer in a closed bathroom. You can hear the fan noise through the air even at high speed.
