Timing Jayron JR-HM005DC snap-on hour meter seems fine. is not standardized. This caused me serious problems that took several hours to solve. The only means of counter-mounting prevents it from being used in most wood panels over 1/4 inch thick. Electrical contacts are extremely small. My existing standard sized plugs do not fit the existing gauge pins with any tightness. and reliability. To solve the mounting problem, I had to add a 10-32 threaded stud to the back of the plastic counter and make a U-shaped aluminum bracket with a screw hole in the center to attach the screw that held the counter in place more around that To solve the problem of the very small connector pins, I had to solder extensions from larger standard pins that I found in my spares box to the existing gauge pins. I will not buy this counter again.
