Review on Rite Lite LPL640W-2 6-LED Battery-Operated Under-Cabinet Light, White, 2-Pack: Reliable and Convenient Lighting Solution by Debra Riley

Bought this to use under the shelf above my desk. The top light in this room is about 15 feet tall, so I wanted to add a more powerful light source to my desk lamp to better illuminate keyboards, papers, books, etc. I installed them with screws which was easy. This Rite Lite product just wasn't designed for that kind of environment, even with the desk lamp off. The LEDs provide a very low-level light that doesn't flood at all and is barely visible from about 2-3 feet away in low ambient light. When all the lights are off, the light is a bit brighter, but not bright enough to recommend for this purpose either. A small button would be a significant disadvantage in such conditions.
