Review on KYY Portable Monitor 15.6 Inch | External 1920X1080P 60Hz | Built-in Speakers | K3-1 IPS - Review & Specs by Michael Weaver

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality, the best in my rating

Beautiful 17 inch 1080P display with mini HDMI and USB-C video input. Power is also supplied via USB-C. Alternatively, power can be supplied via the computer's USB port. Includes power adapter and USB-C to USB-C cable, USB-C to USB-C video cable and standard mini HDMI to HDMI cable. The stereo speakers can be activated via an HDMI cable or mini-jack cable (not included), but are not particularly loud. Beautiful flip cover that attaches with magnets to protect the screen. The cover can also be used as a stable screen stand on uneven surfaces such as a bed or sofa. The lid does not automatically turn off the screen, but when the computer goes into sleep mode, the display will automatically turn off and on again when the computer's video signal is restored. The power button switch is also used to select the input (USB Type-C1, Type-C2, HDMI). Multifunctional mode switch for selecting (by pressing) and adjusting volume, display (brightness, contrast, black level and sharpness), ECO (Scr-Profile een - Standard, Game, Cinema, RTS, FPS, Text), DCR (off , on ), Aspect Ratio (4:3 or Wide (16:9)), Color Temperature (User adjustable RGB, Cool, Warm), Language (English, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Turkish). , Italian, Netherlands), OSD timer, transparency, blue light level, HDR modes. I don't know what some of these screen profile statements mean. I found the default display modes to be acceptable, but there are options if you want to change something. I can't test USB-C input because none of my computers have USB-C output and video is not supported by Google Pixel phone (some Samsung, Huawei, Honor, Oppo, Razer, HTC, LG and Asus phones are supported).

Pros
  • Built-in speakers
Cons
  • Monitor cables are too short.
