I've only had my new portable monitor for a few days, but so far I'm very happy with it. This is exactly what I was hoping for. This is an extended display for my Dell Windows 11 laptop that only requires one cable (USB C for signal and power). The picture quality is as good as my laptop. The brightness is the same as my laptop. The colors are definitely satisfactory, but I'm a "business user" so I can't comment on the color quality for graphic design and photo editing. My only minor complaint is the case/stand. As a case it's fine, but it certainly doesn't offer drop protection. It only protects against scratches and dings while sitting in my laptop bag. However, is it that bad? Because my laptop doesn't have drop protection when it's out of the bag. The case doubles as a stand and is fine at best. It holds the monitor in place using magnets and friction, but it takes a lot of pressure to make it fly or fall. Reading the instructions is helpful as many people probably don't know that the bottom flap folds over for extra holding power. The weird thing is that the magnet seems to have reverse polarity than it should. The top of the back of the case, aligned with the top of the back of the monitor, repels rather than attracts. It still seems to work fine, but I flip the screen back when I put it away, otherwise the force of the magnet would hold the case about 1/2 inch away from the screen instead of being tightened. These monitors (and other brands) get tons of bad reviews from people who don't understand what they're doing. Many of them don't come with a full-featured USB-C cable that can deliver power and image over a single cable. These folks need two cables, one for HDMI and one for power. The monitor comes with both cables, just in case. I got the impression that everyone expects to work with a cable despite not knowing what device they have (laptop, phone, etc.). .) supports. Some people have even complained that it requires a special cable to use it with an iPad or iPhone. Understand that this is not the fault of the monitor manufacturer. This is the manufacturer of the device or the knowledge of the user. C just doesn't have very clear notations and specifications. ns for normal users. Finally, some of the bad reviews are from people who bought this to use while sitting at their desk. Know what you are buying! There are better and cheaper options if someone just wants to use this on their desktop. It's a great option for portability, but it's not something you'd buy if it's always sitting on your desk and never moving.
