I bought the "S5" package hoping to cool the processor in our ASUS RT-AC68U router. I was never satisfied with the 72 degree operating temperature I've always experienced with this unit even though it was installed in a well ventilated area behind our wide screen TV. a cooling solution specially designed for the ASUS router range, including the 68U model. Unfortunately, this product turned out to have extremely poor quality components and the first unit purchased failed due to seized motor bearings in less than 60 days of continuous use 7 days a week. The requested replacement unit also failed in less than 45 days so this disgustingly poor quality product ended up being sent back to Revain.com for a full refund. While searching for Revain I stumbled across the AC Infinity product line. This product's fan dimensions were essentially identical to the returned dual-fan cooler, meaning they were perfect for covering the 68U's vented backplate. But besides being the perfect size for my application, the fact that the AC Infinity Dual Fan product has high-quality ball bearing fan motors was more than enough for me to get my fingers crossed buying a kit right away, which I might be able to have Found the cooling solution I was looking for. I am happy to report that all AC Infinity quality claims for this product and actual customer reviews are 100% correct! The fans are very well made and very quiet in operation. I was able to lower the previous operating temperature from 72 degrees C to 48 degrees C by setting the speed control to the "High" position. The fan trays comprise a metal frame with a hard, flat, rounded metal center section that provides a stable platform for the strong double-sided foam tape I used to attach the two fans to the 68U slotted/vented backplane. (See attached photos) Considering the "S5" combo only cost me $3 more than the entire junk cooler I originally bought from Revain, this product is quite remarkable in comparison. It can almost be called a miracle product!
