I have purchased many items from Monoprice in the past. Always good price, good quality. I thought I would "upgrade" my old 4-pair Monoprice platter to a 5-pair platter. I rarely write negative reviews, but this item deserves to be called trash. The messages are flat so the banana plugs are not tight. Instead, they stick out 1/4 inch. Forgive me if that was the only problem. Tolerances on bolts and supports are terrible. They all wobble, so it's difficult to tighten them. 3 struts on the back allow the sockets to slide freely. On and off I had to take the nuts off and reverse them as it wouldn't affect the banana connection on the front. Terrible quality control. Don't even try to install them in a wall box. The front panel doesn't even come close to touching the wall.
