I prepared everything, cleaned the holes beforehand because I had to replace the very cheap flimsy original speakers that Toyota installed in the rear with the destroyed speaker grilles. There is a very clear video on Tube on how to remove the back deck to do this. After replacing the speaker, I put everything back together. Then, two days later, these bars came. Insert 4 latches on each grille inserted into the cleaned holes in the rear deck. They snap easily into place and lock securely. Very happy with this product!
