This will be your everyday shoe because it is very comfortable. You will instantly become like an old friend. I only give four stars because they don't have a size that fits me perfectly. I usually wear 10.5 wide. On the advice of some other reviewers, I ordered a size 11.5. When I opened the package I couldn't believe how narrow and long the soles looked. I managed to squeeze my feet into the shoes. They were a bit narrow and too long. Since they are soft, there was no problem with the width. They are about 1/2 inch longer for my 10 1/2 feet. Actually I loved her. I only wear them at home because the shape makes them look a bit weird on me. Conclusion: They are normal in length, but are slightly narrower in width.
