I bought the previous remote control socket for $20 and it didn't seem to work right away after 5 or 6 clicks. I just got this one and even went to the facility in my basement to check it out and it works great. The only thing is that it didn't come with a battery, luckily it was the same type of battery in the other one I bought as the battery isn't a regular AAA or AA battery that you have at home would. It would be nice if the box had an English manual.
