I should have put this in my garage years ago. I have had a pull out extension for many years but never had any light coming in. I finally got it and am very happy that the light is always ready when and where it is needed and love that I can put it away quickly and easily. The only problem is that the stopper slips on the line. When the cable is pulled in and the stopper hits the spool, the spool will slide off. If you want a limiter to keep the light at an accessible level, you may be disappointed. I like it when the light is high up and reachable with a little chain. I also like to have a small pencil sharpener at the end of the chain as an end handle. This also keeps a sharpener handy if needed. (The kids call it a life hack, I call it a shopping tip.)
