I really believed these would be the solution to my problem and in a sense they are because a dog can't chew through that steel cable. However, the weakness of this whole leash is the curls in which it returns and folds over to form a loop for your wrist strap and dog collar clip. The first ones I ordered. The cord snapped out of its clips so I contacted the company at the returns window and they sent me new leads. Now I came out of the returns window with spare cords and they pull out too so I had to buy a cord clamp system separate from the crimps and try to salvage what I paid for. This indicates the return window is closed, but they say there's a one-year warranty. I'm sorry that's how it happened when you pinch these ends together to make a loop for your hand and there isn't enough for the clip on the collar. How old are the two lines? Originally they sent me two replacement lines, now I have two lines that I had to change. You might want to consider another product.
