I was looking for some new cooking/grilling accessories and I really liked this set from BBQ Pro Club. Everything received safe and sound, just packed and ready to use. I'm a bit new to grilling - I spend more time at the stove and oven - but thought it might double the responsibility. I looked at every piece of this set as soon as I got them and liked what I saw, but I needed to put them to good use quickly. I had to make both rustic borscht and pulled pork sandwiches in one week and this set proved to be a lifesaver! Although the gloves are a bit bulky, they do an excellent job of keeping out the heat; once when I put potatoes in boiling water, and again when I needed to shred a roast pork. Let's talk about those claws for a moment. I've never used claws to chop meat and honestly don't know why. I used to use either my hands or some combination with a fork - a really annoying task, I tell you. And finally a thermometer. It takes the temperature quickly and seems accurate and is perfect for my roast. Easy to use and I really appreciate being able to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit as not all recipes involve a simple conversion. Overall I really like this set. I think of several family members who would do the same. :)
