I bought this tablecloth to hide scratches on my double table. The tablecloth was neatly packed in a zip-lock bag; however, it was crumpled like a chessboard. No problem. I had to iron in cotton mode on a steam iron. After about 20 minutes of ironing on both sides, at least 90% of the creases have disappeared! Don't be afraid to iron on a hot setting. The material does not burn and leaves no traces of burns. In general, the material is not thin and not very thick. The material doesn't look cheap. For the price I would recommend this tablecloth.
