I would give this bookcase five stars were it not for the fact that my son hasn't been able to sleep in his room for almost two weeks because of this smell. His bedroom window has literally been open for 14 days and he has been sleeping in another room ever since. Every day I think, one more night and then the chemical smell will be gone. And it's not. As for the quality of the product, like everything else, it is of good quality and very durable. The paint looks good. And my son loves his new bookshelves.
