Review on Autel AutoLink AL619 OBD2 Scanner: Advanced ABS, SRS Airbag Scan Tool & ABS/Airbag Warning Light Turn-Off - Ready Test | Enhanced Version of AL519 & ML519 by Steven Loy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Solid scanner good for code readers and scan tools

Since Toyota had to pay around $200 to tell me why my airbag light was on (and not off) I just decided to do this to buy and see if it can save me a trip and a few bucks. It was like this. There is an SRS brain module + a couple of sensors, connectors etc and the AL619 pointed me straight to where the problem was. L Rear passenger seat belt. I ended up removing the tailgate trim, disconnecting and reinstalling the cable from the seat belt pretensioner, erasing the codes with a scanner and I haven't seen the gauge on the dash since. It also reads/removes problems with the ABS braking system. I wish I hadn't had this when the ABS light came on in my other car because even though I fixed the problem, I had to pay Toyota $50 to reset the codes and turn off the light on the dash. This thing is a guard.
