Take your time and be sure to follow the instructions. There are many small pre-drilled holes that look the same. They are different on each side of the same piece of wood, so be careful. If you screw even a little too tight, you'll bend the included fasteners, splitting the wood and causing a bit of a mess. Everything should work by itself, not force it. Hole covering stickers are useful but definitely time consuming to apply. I rolled my eyes and then gave a few boo boos. Overall I really like the unique look of this coffee table and I wasn't expecting perfection as I assembled it myself. The raised edge is great for my projector.
