We initially chose these for my husband but he didn't like the fit overall. He complained that the heel was eating his socks. So we gave them to an elderly gentleman (Henry) from my brother-in-law's nursing home. He was very pleased with this, took off his old shoes and threw them in the hallway, which the nurse did not like very much. Henry uses a walker and needs well-balanced, non-slip shoes - they meet both requirements.
