I bought these to use as laptop speakers in my home office. Great speakers for the price! The sound quality is not exactly audiophile. So if you want perfect balance, spend a little more money elsewhere. If you are looking for a good all-round speaker set with a good sound in consumer quality, these speakers are the right choice. When I first used it via Bluetooth from my PC I found the mids really washed out. After some testing I found that it is related to the settings and drivers on my computer. I had to experiment with different virtualization options and built-in optimization presets. Everything sounds great once I figure it out. The quality when streaming from my phone was great and I didn't have to set anything up. Controls on the side or front of the device would be nice. They're easy to use, but you have to reach for the back of the speaker to access them.
