Review on ✂️ Rotary Cutter with a 45mm Blade by Kim Sanchez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best Cutter

My mother bought me a Kai cutter when I was 20, about 35 years ago. Unfortunately, this original cutter fell off the table onto the concrete floor and splintered. My heart broke. I was thrilled to see that this model is still in production! Not the same color as my old one but exactly the same specs. So many people who have rotary cutters don't use them because they are too difficult to use. This is exactly the reason to own this cutter. For starters, there's no cumbersome blade exposure button to fiddle with. It has an ingenious push-and-cut feature, and when it's done, the blade is automatically covered by the pad. If you want to cut through thin or thick material or even layers, you can change how far the guard pushes back. For most work, I leave my settings on Medium. I have severe arthritis in my hands and I can still use this cutter (while not being able to use the ergonomic design with uncomfortable blade settings). The most important thing is to keep the cutting mat low and on a hard surface. Keep a sharp blade in it and make sure there is no dirt on the mat so there are no chips on the blade. I see negative reviews about this cutter. ignore her Simplicity is the best design and this cutter has it. Universal blades also work with this cutter. I give it 5 stars for its ergonomics because it's like holding a straight handle knife and I mastered it when I was 10. :)
