I used this screen to replace an old worn out factory screen. This one is definitely higher quality than the original screen, even when the Nomad was new, but it also comes with risks. You may or may not get a bad block. I have a stuck pixel that doesn't bother me too much but might for others. I'd try swapping it out, but I've soldered it a lot (see below), so even if they swapped it out, it would be a lot of work. Hopefully it will resolve itself after some time. This screen features a DC buck converter which is much more efficient (and probably safer) than the linear regulator that Nomad uses. I removed the linear regulator and bypassed it with the output of this converter. The screen layout now caters to the entire nomad. This makes it much more efficient. I highly recommend trying it out if you're good with a soldering iron. There are videos online how to do it.
