My hair has gotten quite long during this pandemic as I don't like the idea of getting cut during this mess. I started wearing a hat but it was uncomfortable wearing it indoors all the time. Also, I felt it pulled my hair a bit because it was so tight, so I started looking for hair clips as I had never bought one before. While these hair clips weren't exactly what I was looking for, I'm definitely glad I got them. Very cheap, but the build quality and aesthetics don't reflect that. Good mix of materials, looks smooth and extremely gentle on the hair. I have thick, straight hair and it's long enough that a quick one-handed comb through usually leaves hair messy. With those bobby pins, I forgot I was wearing one and took off her shirt. He got tangled up in his shirt and I literally ripped him out of my hair. I didn't feel anything and my hair didn't fall out. Which was very surprising; I don't know what rubbery and non-rubbery material it is, but it practically cradles your hair. If you happen to be the type of guy looking for a (non-social) hairpin, I wholeheartedly recommend getting one. I know I probably won't use them for their intended purpose, but for a hair holder that plays without tickling my retinal hair, it's a 10 out of 10.
