Great light. Perfect for my 10 gallon rimless bottle. Please note that this bracket is not designed for use with a rimmed aquarium with a maximum diameter of 8mm. The app works great, lots of features to choose from. I wish there was wi-fi so I can control when I'm gone. The light is bright, I have Shrimp King 10gr on Dennerl. It would be great if users could share their lighting settings in Pro mode in future updates. There are three settings manual, automatic and professional. Everything can be further individualized according to your wishes. Or you can use one of the three preinstalled professional settings, the preset automatic setup, or create your own using one of the three. The application is the same as for the entire Fluval Plant Spectrum LED range. You can set all available LED lighting colors independently, including three different shades of white. It took me less than five minutes to install the light and schedule it using one of the preset professional schedules. The light seems bright enough to grow plants in bright light at 10 gallons and it would probably be possible to grow low to medium plants at 15 gallons. The price couldn't be better for a 63 LED light with built in ramp timer and affordable settings. For size and performance comparison, I left the Dennerle Nano 5.0 on top. The Dennerle is the same price but has fewer LEDs (12) and no timer, I had to spend another $11 for a ramp timer. This light is IP67 rated so it should work well over an open aquarium and even when dropped in water. The only other minor downside is that the LED module isn't replaceable, which would be nice. The last two pictures show the lighting difference between Dennerle Nano 5.0 and Fluval with all LEDs at 100.
