I've been playing cryptocurrencies for about 5 years and I've been a computer engineer for 20+ years, so I have a pretty good idea of what I'm doing here. With this motherboard I ran up to 9 Radeon GPUs simultaneously on this motherboard in several configurations: * Equihash mining on older (7950/7970) GPUs usually runs for a few days, after which one of the GPUs freezes and then Linux hangs for a few minutes . after. There's no sequence where the card freezes, so I don't think it's cards. There is no indication in any logs - the system just freezes abruptly and a reboot is required to reset it. .* Etherhash mining on newer cards when mining Equihash on more than one old card takes several hours before a hard ban. Yes, the same old cards that work for over a week if it's just one of them with their newer siblings. Another mining rig with a different motherboard has no issues with these configurations, so I'm pretty sure it's the motherboard. I solved the problem by grouping the GPUs into my own setups, but I don't have to. Overall, this is a decent mining motherboard, especially with so many PCIe slots. At the moment it works with all new cards with a single 7950 and it's fine so hopefully it stays that way as I can afford to keep adding 470/480/570/580.
