worked great! the problem was in the connector

worked great! the problem was in the socket. It took 15 minutes to replace the sensor and 4 hours to hook it up to the wiring harness. The connector is attached to the top of the transmission, 4 inches between the transmission and the body. I had to remove the shift/gear interlock to access connector 02, unplug the gear sensor connectors and gearbox connector and remove the 14mm screw on the gearbox holding the engine harness on the left side. the O2 connector can be accessed through the switch/transmission lock once the O2 sensor connector is disconnected from its armature terminal. Securing the O2 port is a struggle requiring long nose pieces. What engineering, Sanfu! The check engine light reset when I started my 2004 Tacoma 6 Cylinder, Manual Transmission, 4x4, d1s1 sensor is on the right hand side just after the exhaust junction before the cat. I do not recommend cutting and pasting the label use it, you might regret it! Take the time to do a professional job!

Pros
  • very good value for money
Cons
  • the cable is shorter than the others
