I bought this for my 17" gaming laptop. it fits well, but the padding is not as much as I would have hoped. I definitely would not throw this in my trunk or in office without something else to protect it. If you drop your bag, it will not do much to protect the laptop. Feels like more of a sleeve than a protective case.However, it is light weight, comes with a strap, and is super thin, so I am not saying that it is useless, but it has a specific application.I deducted one star for a lack of padding on the thin edge (if you are holding the bag on your shoulder, the edge that the laptop would be resting on). If you drop the laptop, it would be the edge that would hit the ground.
