Not the best idea if you're not very confident in your abilities.
I will never disassemble my car to install them. There are no instructions. I watched a video on YouTube and you need to completely disassemble the mirror and peel off the plastic. Then slide it in between the mirror and the plastic (there's no room for that, so the mirror won't sit flush) and then put everything back together. If you don't do it right, you will break the mirror glass, plastic housing and/or motor. Don't do this if you are unsure! Would return it but so cheap it's not worth shipping back.
