I bought the shorts in a LARGE size and (for me) they fit loose. The leg width is about 1.5 inches wider than the width, but it's good for lounging around the house. I also bought MEDIUM shorts. It also fits, but is much more figure-hugging, but not too tight. I prefer MEDIUM but others may prefer LARGE. So check the dimensions before purchasing. In addition, shorts with zip pockets have a false zipper. Shorts without zip pockets have a real zip fly. My current stats are: Height = 6ft, Weight = 192lbs, Waist (measured at waistline under love handles) = 36 3/4. I've attached large and medium sized images:
