Review on 🌿 Peugeot Paris Manual Salt Mill - Classic Adjustable Beechwood Grinder - Natural 7 Inch (0870418/SME) by Jake Davies

I recently purchased this item to go with a well made Peugeot pepper grinder which I have enjoyed using for many years. What a disappointment! I've tried different types of coarse salt in it. Most of them went straight and spilled the ground. I had to use the coarsest salt to prevent this. Even then, I found that the coarse/fine adjustment quickly went from one extreme to the other: either the salt didn't flow out, or the salt flowed out freely when the knob wasn't turned. There was a narrow range of useful adjustments between them. After using the salt grinder for a few months, it stopped working. I took it apart to see what was going on and was shocked to see the shredding mechanism. Instead of the solid components I'd expect from a quality product, I found two thin tin cones with shallow indentations that were already completely worn out. Not to make too much of it, this is complete crap.
