Used before sacroiliac joint fusion surgery. It was the only thing that helped me somehow steady myself so I could stand. Had a warm water physical therapist suggest trying this. There were many other therapists, massage therapists, other physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists - NONE of them even mentioned it or tried to use it. I owe so much to PT Warm Water for jumping off the bridge (okay, maybe not really) for all the instability and pain I was living with pre-op. It really saved my life and sanity. I had an accident that severely damaged both sacroiliac joints. The other side now needs SI joint fusion surgery. This is the bandage that will keep me alive until I have my next SI joint fusion surgery. Not just for pregnant women! My Ciro said it never occurred to her to suggest this as she only knew of its use during pregnancy and the added support of the lower back and sacroiliac joints in expectant mothers.
