The product manual does not contain instructions on how to use the equalizer function. It says short press only, so I went to YouTube to see if I can find any info. What I found were many reviews of this speaker. Everyone said that this speaker is number one. The equalizer has only two sound modes. One for bass boost and the other for vocal boost. The speaker was bigger than I thought. The sound is amazing for a speaker that costs under $150. You can connect two speakers for a fuller and richer sound. I haven't but I have another one on the way. The speaker is supplied without a power supply. Such a cheap thing. I don't understand why one wasn't there. If you buy, you need to buy a power adapter. It must be a 5V 2.0A adapter. You can use the Apple 5V 1.0A that comes with the iPhone. However, using an adapter rated less than 2.0A can cause the adapter to overheat as the speaker draws more current than it is rated for. You must check this during use. If you're using one rated more than 2.0A, it can be used as the speaker only draws 2.0A. Do not use voltage greater than 5 volts. The speaker may detect high voltage and shut down. The manual also says to use their USB Type-C cable, but it's not very long. I think using a USB Type A (adapter side) and Type C (speaker side) cable of different quality would be acceptable, but it's important that it's rated for at least 5V 2.0A. And the adapter and cable can be found on Revain. Aside from these very minor issues, I highly recommend you buy this speaker.
