Review on Smart bracelet HUAWEI Band 4 Pro, graphite black by Franciszka Adamski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Just a note: I bought it just for tracking my undertraining, and for nothing more, so I immediately turned off notifications, music control, and turning on the screen to raise my hand (I left turning it on only by pressing the button). First impressions are great - excellent performance, comfortable strap, light, no gaps or backlashes. After the purchase, the firmware was ated a couple of times. As for the "stuffing" - I was surprised, but the sensors work pretty well. The readings of the pulse and saturation differ from the readings of the Xiaomi Yuwell YX303 pulse oximeter by no more than 1. During one trip in the car (30 minutes), the readings of the pedometer did not change by one - not bad! For a day with "smart" monitoring of heart rate and sleep, the charge decreased by 10% - also excellent. But the rest is bad. The saturation of the bracelet measures 1 minute, and you can not move, and often goes astray. The pulse is also not fast - for one-time measurements, a pulse oximeter is better. But the most vile and disgusting is its application, Huawei Health. Your walk/run data will be recorded and analyzed, but. 1. You can’t set up notifications about the pulse (like, “where are you, old man, above 160?!”). 2. You can’t upload data to Strava (a screenshot can be laughed at - we proudly called it “sync with Strava”). 3. The bracelet cannot be connected directly to Strava or Google Fit. 4. There is synchronization with Google Fit, but slowly and sadly (well, Huawei has an old love with Google). 5. Huawei Health does not have a “just workout” mode (there is generally only running and walking, that’s all). I am glad that there is such a program in the bracelet itself. 6. When walking, the current pace jumps terribly, from 16 to 8 min / km - these are software problems. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, at least it can monitor the pulse during the training and display it on the screen. But if you want to somehow sanely engage in cycling or running, then I don’t think that Huawei products will be the best choice. . Oh no, the bracelet is lying. With a pulse under 150, it underestimates the readings by 15-20.

Pros
  • Excellent appearance - neat, build quality. Decent stuffing - accurately measures the pulse and saturation. Good battery life.
Cons
  • Disgusting software - normally works only with the native application. The incomprehensible work of GPS - whether it works or not.
