Great underwater action camera

I needed an underwater camera for an upcoming trip to the Caribbean (which might be canceled :( so this unit fits - spare battery, photo and video, stabilization, snorkeling on my own or diving with suitcase. As When I received the device (2 days without Prime - bravo Revine!) I was surprised - it was packaged as nicely as Apple products, lots of accessories (I'm sure I don't need all of them, some I don't need, I don't even know what for :) Nice thick booklet with user manual in plain text (German, Chinese, no Spanish) or you can d/l softcopyOK, 1st first is Akku There are 2 plus charger (USB to micro cable and power bank required, there are already some , 2A give you a fast charge) First time it fully charged in 10 minutes (I was shocked) but the device only lasted 20+ minutes recharged (now 40+ Mi ne t) and I got the video recording time 11:52. 13.49 = 1:57 (proof attached, Revain only allows one video :( so end of run in screenshot Features: everything imaginable, time lapse is my favorite (again - video available, can't attach). Touch screen and buttons, display Pretty cool on both sides The camera is very small but heavy - probably the main body is metal rather than plastic (to withstand pressure) There is no tape so be careful not to put it under water - I have mine on one screw attached to the bottom, but there's also a metal loop Quality: good, not great, don't try to compare it to $2000 DSLR-based underwater gear Don't try to shoot great landscapes :) Your smartphone will take better photos, video is actually better and comparable to smartphone (FullHD @ 30 fps or HD @ 60 for fast motion) Of course, you can't use your smartphone underwater take it with you :-) Under water: that was the most important thing for me. So I tested it in . water basket. Two hours (as in the video) - no problem at all. All compartments checked - dry. Of course, 24" is not the same as 10', but still works: easy if you read the instructions :-) First, it's DIFFICULT to open the battery and USB port compartment. You have to press a small button and slide the door. With wet fingers this is really tricky, some tools or nails may be required.Because it was made on purpose - to keep water out.In the SD card slot is where the battery is.Only use high-end Fast (U3) one - that's a High-bit video, not your normal data. The video is split into 3.5GB files. The only thing I really miss about the device is wireless charging. But if you need a spare battery, you have to anyway do open the door.

Pros

Cons
