I bought these headlights and a smaller alternative to the ones I have. In my very unscientific daily test (see picture) I feel the brightness drop between the Urban Ethix dual light and the CATEYE light. These Akale lights are the lightest of the three and I love that they are rechargeable. The installation will bother you, most likely these headlights are not for you. The curvature on the back of the light clip is off center so the light will not be centered when installed. A small thing, but it might bother some people. All in all these are good lights and I would recommend them. Took them on a 3 hour trip without them running out of charge in flash mode.
