**UPDATE** These sheets have been in use for about a month and I just noticed that the thread has come loose so the crease in the top sheet has just untied. That's pretty quick for the stitches that will unravel on their own! Not that I've washed those sheets very often. **Original Review** It is important to note that this sheet set is described as a cotton blend - 52% cotton, 43% polyester, 5% lyocell. Personally, I prefer cotton sheets, but was curious if mixed sheets could work well too. I would say these sheets work well. In terms of texture, they fall somewhere between the crisp feel of percale linen and the silky feel of satin linen - in fact, they don't offer all the benefits of either. However, the stitching looks good and feels soft. They're not as thick and strong as my good LL Bean Sheets, but not too fragile either. I've gotten picky about sheets as I've gotten older, so I would still choose a superior quality percale sheet set for my own bed. . But at this price these sheets would fit my son's bed nicely. I also use them on a guest bed without hesitation. It's not clear how well they will hold up over time, but my first impression is that these sheets work well for the price and are comfortable enough for moderate use.
