Let's face it, I'm not easily impressed. I bought this little bug at my daughter's request (as a baby/pet monitor to use while she is at work) and after reading the reviews from Revain I decided to buy it for myself. I'm a gadget junkie and the first thing that comes to my mind when I go shopping is the "As Seen on TV" section and for $40 I expected this to go straight into a trash can after purchase to keep in the garage for sale . Not so. While Faleemi is obviously a foreign startup (English is definitely not a native language, as you'll see if you buy and read the starter booklet), customer service and support are second to none. The camera itself just blows my socks off. To be honest, this is NOT a Canary or SimplySafe device. And the price is not the same. This is an extremely effective security/surveillance camera that performs much better than expected. I'm buying two more because I'm sure the price will double within a year. The device is so good. I activated the 'Set Alarm/Motion Detection' button and the suction cup actually sent an alarm when it detected my shadow from another room! And he did it in 10 seconds. He's at least as fast as my canary in my vacation home. This is a winning product.
