Won't last long - spend more and buy better!

I did a lot of research and read all the reviews and it was too much to pass up. I love this tent. That's the good thing about him: he's huge! You can stand in it, put all your gear, lots of people, pets, etc. This is our rain tent because we can all sit in it (6 adults plus a couple of kids and dogs) and play cards. I can put it on by myself if needed, but it's easier with a second person. It tolerates rain and wind very well (see exception below). I've had the tent for almost a year now and have used it 4 times and set it up 2 more times for training and maintenance. I was pretty pissed because it's clear it's time for me to start looking for a new tent. Here are the cons: (1) The door is poorly constructed or has a cheap zipper and the door keeps getting stuck in the zipper. ALWAYS. You can see it's already worn out. (2) In strong winds and rain, there will be a gap between the screen and the windows of the tent through which moisture can penetrate. (3) The side panels of the tent have a strange design and want to fall inside the tent. (4) True for most tents, but definitely for this tent, due to its size, you need better quality pegs. (5) Perhaps most troubling, during my recent camping trip, one of the tent's large poles fell apart due to a broken elastic cord in my hand. I was able to pull through but given the age and usage of the tent this is rather disappointing. I'm working on getting a guarantee, but it's not easy (yet). I would advise you to keep shopping, spend a little more and buy a tent that will last.
