People complaining that it doesn't work probably haven't read the manual
Charged, they worked great! One boot stopped working mid-event, but as shown in the instructions for the boots, there is some sort of wiring under the insole. The fork of a boot has just come loose. Worked fine after I put it back in. I'll probably just tape it over or something.
