Nice but thin and light. If you are used to the 150 and 200 weights for wool (Smartwool and Icebreaker) I would call the BUFF 100 weight. It's still beautiful, functional and warm. The manufacturer's information isn't subtly printed on the BUFF, but features a conspicuous sewn-on white label that's really deterrent. (Remember that little mattress label on your head). I'm tempted to extract the label if I can do it without making a hole.
