You can not open it to put the ashes in.

The ring itself is beautiful. It is impossible to open. I have tried many times, with the screwdriver provided, to no avail. I am extremely frustrated and very angry because this was a very important gift for my 13yr old who just lost his grandma on July 25th. It is now scraped on the underside of the ring, as you can see in the pictures, due to the fact that it can NOT be opened.

The necklaces are beautiful, I’ve order several more. My one concern is the company sent me a 10% thankyou which I tried to use on my reorder and was unable to do so, a little disappointed.
