I'm a runner who got fed up with my fuel belt so I gave it a try. Each leg has a pocket and a hidden elastic pocket. I keep my phone in my right side pocket, my ID in my left, and my car keys in a trash can. This leaves my hands free to hold the dog leash or my personal stinger. The pockets are at a good height where they are not offensive. I wore them to weight training and I love the idea of not thinking about my phone. There was only one minor downside, there is a seam that runs about 2 inches below the top of the shorts. The first few times I wore them I felt like my underwear was slipping off!?! I got used to it. I would recommend them for price, convenience and comfort.
