I like the key and lock design for security. The key looks like a car key, which is pretty impressive for a bike lock. Unfortunately, this lock really scratches up your bike. I lock up on a crowded rack, so people with jostle your lock. and when they do, it really harms your bike. My u-locks are coated with rubber to prevent scratches. This thing scratches all the protective coating off, leaving your bike open for rusting. So, I have used some good quality bike stickers to protect my bike from it. Good thing I like to sticker my bike with places I've ridden. But if you are a bike purist and want your bike to stay non scratched and non stickered. well don't buy this lock.Also, for portability, this lock is hefty. You definitely feel in on your belt. I put it in the water bottle pouch in my bike bag but it was too heavy and eventually ripped a hole in it.So, secure? Yeah. Definitely I'd use it for my work day on a well lit rack. But you have to be comfortable with your $1k+ bike getting all scratched up.
