The wax seemed a lot lighter than other brands of wax and when I started using it in the hot glue gun it melted too much. Then, using my seal, it was difficult to peel off even when completely cooled! The last straw was that the consistency of the wax color went wrong. It looked like a galaxy effect with dark, almost black stripes. And the smell was strong, like spray paint. Bottom Line: Save your money on this one. Instruct him to buy a higher quality seal.
