I was amazed when I received it as it was a few centimeters larger than what I ordered. Although I could put it in my aquarium I decided to cut it out. I used fresh wire cutters, although I'm sure there's something better. If you do the same (and even if you don't), be sure to trim, sand, or otherwise cut off any sharp pieces of wood so as not to endanger your fish's scales. Also, make sure any holes large enough for small fish or juvenile fish that may get stuck are closed. I used large, natural holes to glue the plants in and bent and glued the ends to keep the fish from getting stuck.
