This brand and style has become a favorite with my toddler and preschool daughters who play hard but love cute shoes! Perfect for playtime yet elegant enough to pair with casual dresses. The durable, non-marking outsole holds up well to everyday wear, and the upper is of good quality and easy to keep clean. The way the sole flexes over the toe is perhaps my favorite practical feature - my daughters tend to drag their toes across the pavement while playing with kick scooters and other ride-on toys, which quickly ruins a pair of cheap shoes (literally this happened in ONE ONE DAY for two from the local discount store!). After all, we pay less for shoes when we buy shoes that last. As for the "Chinese Grass Insole" it seems to work because we never had a problem with the smell of these shoes. Highly recommended.
