Much, much brighter than older halogen lamps. This is a plus. However, I don't think the color temperature is exactly right. They are marked bright white 3000k. I would say they are closer to 4200k. As you can see from the photos, the center bulb is an LED flanked by two halogen bulbs. They are also priced at 3000k. The headlights in my car are 6500K and the bulbs in my shop are 5000K so I think I have a pretty good example of what it actually looks like. At the lowest dimming setting they are still very bright compared to halogens. I will be changing them all to match, the color temperature is fine with me just not exact and the extra lumens shining across the countertops would to be appreciated. The lamps make a very well-made and durable impression. One image at full brightness and the other at full darkness.
